I’m passionate about God’s name being known in every tribe, tongue, and nation! I’m specifically burdened to share the gospel with women in unreached people groups, and teaching and discipling them to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord!
Hi there! My name is Lauren and my little family formerly resided in the San Francisco Bay Area where we are members of NorthCreek Church. I’ve been married for 8 years to a Canadian “MK” and am a mother to a 4-year-old heart warrior and a baby girl.
I studied at New Tribes Bible Institute in Jackson, Michigan where I met and married my husband and received a A.A. in Biblical Studies. We lived in the Bay Area of California and then the Dallas/Ft. Worth area before we continued our education at Emanate (a cross-cultural church planting training centre) in Durham, Ontario, Canada. We received our Bachelor’s in Intercultural Ministries and then joined the Emanate staff while our son recovered from heart surgery.
I am also a professional birth doula, trained birth assistant, and student midwife who is passionate about maternal and neonatal care in developing countries.
Our family of three moved to Asia Pacific in November 2015 to begin studying language and culture. We are working as church planters and Bible translators with Ethnos Canada and are looking forward to allocating to an unreached people group in the next few years.
I’m hoping that through this site women can find resources and encouragement, get to see our journey in tribal church planting, and be challenged to take part in whatever ministry the Lord has them in!
